Pulse Circle / Your information

Terms of service

The ground rules for using Pulse Circle and sharing health information responsibly.

Effective 7 September 2026 · Last updated 7 September 2026

Personal wellness, shared thoughtfully. Pulse Circle is an early private beta, intended for adults. Measurements are informational and are not medical advice or emergency monitoring.

The service and this agreement

These terms apply to the Pulse Circle Android app and its related service, operated by Arya Dhrangdhria. By using Pulse Circle, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: .

Pulse Circle provides personal health summaries, private circles, opt-in metric sharing, leaderboards and optional live heart-rate sharing. Its handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and your account

The current private beta is for adults aged 18 and over. Use your own Google account and protect your account and device. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for choosing whom to invite into your circles. Do not impersonate others, access another person’s account without authorization, or share invitation links publicly unless you intend to admit their recipients.

Wellness use and accuracy

Pulse Circle is for general wellness information and social motivation. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency response or continuous clinical monitoring. Do not rely on it to make treatment decisions or detect an emergency.

Measurements and rankings can be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. They depend on source apps, device exports, sensor compatibility, permissions, connectivity, time zones and aggregation methods. Users submit measurements through their devices; the service does not independently verify sensor accuracy or prevent every form of manipulation. A ranking is not a medical assessment or a reliable comparison of overall health.

Live readings may become stale or stop without warning. Do not use Pulse Circle as an emergency alarm. Seek qualified professional advice for health decisions and contact local emergency services in an emergency.

Your data and sharing choices

You retain your rights in the information you provide. You permit Pulse Circle and its service providers to process that information as needed to operate the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy. This includes storing uploaded summaries and showing permitted data to circle members.

Before granting health permissions or sharing with a circle, consider what members will see. Sharing a metric can expose available historical values as well as new ones. Other members may remember or copy information already displayed. Revoking sharing stops future authorized access through the service but cannot retract external copies. Do not copy, disclose or misuse another member’s personal or health information without their permission.

Acceptable use

  • Use the service lawfully and only with accounts, devices and information you are authorized to use.
  • Do not harass people, pressure them to reveal health information, or use metrics to discriminate against them.
  • Do not bypass access controls, scrape private information, distribute malicious code, or disrupt the service.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity or intentionally falsify data to deceive other members.
  • Do not use information from Pulse Circle for insurance, credit, employment screening or surveillance.

Beta availability and third parties

Pulse Circle is an early private beta. Features may change, fail or become unavailable, and compatible wearable exports are not guaranteed. Google sign-in, Android Health Connect, source apps, network services and Bluetooth devices are provided by third parties with their own terms and availability.

We may update, pause or discontinue features, including for maintenance or security. We may restrict access for abuse or a breach of these terms. Where practical, we will give notice of a material service change and an opportunity to retrieve or delete your information. The current beta has no in-app purchases or subscriptions; any future paid offering would be explained before you agree to charges.

Ending use and deleting information

You can stop using the app at any time. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete server-side information. Use Settings → Delete uploaded data or Settings → Delete account, or follow the deletion instructions. Account deletion removes your owned circles as well as your own account data; other members keep their own accounts and health records.

If access is restricted or you cannot sign in, contact for account and privacy assistance. Data handling after deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

Software and other rights

These terms permit personal use of the app and service. The software, branding and website content remain subject to their owners’ intellectual property rights. Any open-source components are governed by their respective licenses; these terms do not remove rights those licenses grant. You may not imply that Google, a device maker or a healthcare organization endorses Pulse Circle.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, accuracy or suitability for a particular purpose. To that same extent, Arya Dhrangdhria is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, inaccurate or unavailable measurements, or disclosures that result from your authorized sharing choices.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. You remain entitled to remedies required by that law.

Changes and contact

Updated terms will be published here with a revised effective date. We will communicate material changes through the app or another appropriate channel. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the service and use the available deletion controls if you wish.

For support, concerns or a dispute, contact Arya Dhrangdhria at . These terms do not prevent you from exercising rights or using dispute-resolution channels available under applicable law.
